Betty Rich is the CEO and Co-founder of ConnectedHealth, a Wexford direct primary care center. With a passion for health and wellness, she began her career as a specialty pharmacist where she saw the benefits of patients having high-touch, relationship-based care. Harboring genuine connections with her clients ultimately inspired her to start Connected Health.

Betty attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy graduating in 1992. She co-owned Fisher's Speciality Pharmacy until they sold in 2003 and then co-founded Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals, which sold in 2010. Betty received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the upstate NY and Western PA Region in the Health & Lifestyle Sciences category along with her partners from Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals.

In 2012, Betty and her business partner, Michael Fox, set out to create a health and wellness model that better serves patients. Betty and her dedicated team strive to help individuals receive personal, accountable, proactive care to achieve their health and wellness goals.

Since 2012, Betty has expanded her small primary care practice from one to multiple physicians as well as brought on several partners who share her vision to enrich the lives of her clients through wellness, fitness, physical therapy, nutrition, and chiropractic care. With a focus on building meaningful patient-care team relationships, Betty created a business model where each client’s health care is personalized with a concierge-level experience.

She has served on the boards of various companies and charities. Betty is the mother of 2 college kids and lives in Fox Chapel.
