Kaya is a proud Pittsburgh-transplant, holding her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her Master's Degree from Duquesne University. Kaya spent her early years in medicine caring for critically ill patients after heart and lung surgeries at UPMC Presbyterian.
She continues to serve her community as Adjunct Faculty teaching in the undergraduate nursing programs of Duquesne and Carlow Universities.
Kaya is a Resident Skin Health Specialist, extensively trained through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and Allergan Medical Institute in facial anatomy and preventative treatment techniques. She reflects, "I love the versatility of aesthetic medicine - it is so much more than softening wrinkles: We can provide strategic lift, restore volume, accentuate a feature, relieve pain, combat hyperhidrosis and more. It's such a distinct benefit to the patient. I am so proud to bridge my life of like, wellness and innovation in my everyday work at Connected Health."
Kaya is an avid reader and traveler - she enjoys weekends restauranting with her husband, Nicolas, and you can often find her big, black lab sleeping at her feet. Kaya looks forward to caring for you at Connected Health!
