Carla Claus is a Licensed Practical Nurse and the Clinical Coordinator at Connected Health, LLC in Wexford, PA. Carla grew up in northern Minnesota and has lived in the Pittsburgh area for over 25 years. She was inspired to become a nurse by her grandmother, a midwife who delivered babies in rural Minnesota homes.
Throughout her career, Carla has worked in primary care, occupational medicine and most recently, prior to Connected Health, obstetrics and gynecology. Her experience at various levels of leadership brings an unwavering level of professionalism and efficiency behind the scenes. To patients, she’s one of the first smiling faces they see after checking in at the desk.
When asked how her work at Connected Health has impacted her, Carla said, “As a nurse at Connected Health, I’ve never had a boring day. My job can be demanding, but I enjoy the challenges that every day presents. The opportunity to learn and provide compassionate care is always worth the effort. My reward is watching my patients get the right care they deserve.”
In her home life, Carla loves gardening. Her specialty is making heavenly hot salsa. When taking time for herself, Carla’s favorite vacation spot is the beach.
